Your stairway trivia entry[edit]

Please see the talk page for the stairway article for my thoughts on your entry and why I removed it. I noticed that you have been asking individual people on their user talk pages why they have reverted your edits. When people revert your edits, it's best to go to an article's talk page rather than an individual user's talk page to state your point so more people can respond. A user's talk page is generally for talking to a user about their behaviour or a set of actions they have performed on many articles - for example "Thanks for copyediting article x", "Your edits on medical articles are wrong and should be deleted", or things like that. An article talk page is for discussing how to improve an article. You probably believe that adding the trivia about Futurama improved the article, and likewise, when people reverted your additions, you thought the quality of the article decreased. Therefore, you should go to the article's talk page - in this case talk:stairway to respond to what I've written there. Other people with the stairway article on their watchlist will see any messages posted to talk:stairway and respond to them. Graham87 10:28, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
