ARBCOM Question[edit]

I know, you asked it a while ago, but I saw your post about thinking that being on the ARBCOM would be "COOL". Anyway, I would have said this:

"First of all, you'd have to be highly experienced and trusted. This can only be achieve dthrough very hard work and devotion. Next of all, you'd have to be lucky. This is something you cannot get no matter how hard you try. For one, there are like 3 million users and only 15 on the ARBCOM which by simple mathematics means one have a ~1 in 200,000 chance of actually getting on the board. Even with a very good reputation and lots of experience your chance is still probably not going to go over 1%. You do indeed need significant luck in addition to being an extremely good Wikipedian. Not as much as it takes to win the lottery, but still..."

PS. If I was lucky enough to be able to choose between ARBCOM and The Lottery, I'd pick The Lottery hands down. :) 02:15, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:BlueHell1.PNG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:BlueHell1.PNG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
