ARBIPA sanctions reminder[edit]

Hello Southasianresearcher, I would like to remind you that you have received the ARBIPA sanctions notice, and inform you that pages like Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale are covered by the sanctions.

I see you doing problematic edits such as:

  • removing sourced content without achieving consensus,
  • adding content without full citations and without ensuring that they meet the criteria of WP:RS.

Please make sure that you provide full citations for all your edits, and discuss the issues on the talk page when your edits are reverted. Thanks. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 21:37, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Harrassment warning[edit]

Hi Kautilya3 (talk · contribs).

I made considerable, well sourced, contributions to the Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale page in June that were entirely in alignment with Wikipedia's policies. Those contributions have since been inappropriately removed and the content is now subject to extreme bias and misinformation. Moreover, NONE of these edits were done through any sort of consensus method.

I'd like to also remind you of Wikipedia's harassment policy[1], particularly as it relates to "User Space Harrassment" and false or questionable "warnings" on a user's talk page. I expect that we will be able to work together in good faith going forward, as is required by Wikipedia policy.

Thank you.

No, warnings given with evidence are not considered harassment. You need to think about the edits I pointed out and the problems I mentioned about them. You can always tell me not to post on your talk page if you find need to do so. But you will lose the benefit of warnings, which are given in advance of asking for any sanctions.
I have only started watching this page recently. So I don't know what other edits you might have made. But if your content has been removed without adequate explanation in the edit summaries, you are always welcome to question them on the talk page.
All the best! -- Kautilya3 (talk) 15:53, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at Talk:Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 00:35, 1 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:A.R. Darshi[edit]

Hello, Southasianresearcher. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "A.R. Darshi".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Legacypac (talk) 09:38, 1 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
