Information icon Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
Information icon Hello, Spiderworx. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.Deb (talk) 15:06, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Assuming you are the anon who left a message on my page, you wrote:
"The article has 1 external link to the company website. Do I remove this?" Yes, please remove that link, which you included at least three times in the text, and also remove the other nine external links that you included in the text.( Thank you will review the text as it was references and was not imputed correctly) Please also remove all promotional wording, of which there is an awful lot - in fact, I've rarely seen a draft article containing quite so much blatantly promotional language. (I do apologise as I must have misunderstood the neutral point of view and will read again. I feel that it is describing what the company does. Could you please select any version of text that is so blatantly promotional for me address this) If you are having difficulty recognising this, please read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view again. Oh, I nearly forgot. It's not okay in order to add articles about companies to wikipedia in the hope that you can get a job with them. That's a conflict of interest. Deb (talk) 11:21, 3 January 2020 (UTC) This is not what I stated in my original text. I am interested in editing content and writing for a future career. Wikipedia is the first step I need to take to volunteer articles and editing at no charge. I have no intention of finding a job at any company I write articles about, purely learning good editing and writing habits to use in a future career. I appreciate your feedback and would like to ask why you are so abrupt with all your replies as I have read some of the reviews you have left and I am shocked at the professionalism of your replies. I understand that you have many articles to review and you can get some outrageous requests, but I doubt you are helping anyone by insulting the manner in which they write or ask a question. I was hoping to see the feedback as a learning curve and become a better editor for Wikipedia by receiving advice from a reviewer such as yourself and instead I have no guide as to what part of the article you found to be displeasing.[reply]
Why would you be shocked by professionalism? Surely it would be more shocking if I was unprofessional? :-) Deb (talk) 15:29, 3 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
