Hi Spiegelm22, thanks for your additions to Yehudi lights. Do you have a source for any of these? If not, we'll have to remove them until we find verifiable evidence for them. I'm also not very sure how much they add to the article, but we can discuss that, the key thing is to add reliable sources. all the best Chiswick Chap (talk) 22:31, 6 November 2012 (UTC)
- The source is the answer to an "aeroquiz" question asked by the Multidisciplinary Design, Analysis, and Optimization Branch of NASA's glenn research center (link below). Also, I think it adds a bit of color the article given the unusual and completely non-intuitive name for the technology. I am planning to expand on it in a seperate article I am researching on Project Yehudi.

- I see, and thanks for that. Unfortunately a quiz is not really a "reliable source" - the quizmaster may have picked up some gossip, garbled it, or whatever, and in any case it's just their belief. We would need to have a more solid source to be able to add to an article. In the case of a new article, the general guideline is three or more such good, safe, reliable sources, i.e. the bar is set much higher for a stand-alone article.
- Please read WP:Notability and WP:Verifiability before going too far towards a new article. Prima facie (without knowing the details) one would expect that 'Project Yehudi' and 'Yehudi lights' could well be merged. I suggest you discuss the material on the Yehudi lights talk page before adding or creating anything in this area, and if people feel it's OK then it can go into the article. If the article then reaches a size where splitting would seem sensible, of course we can go that way. Right now it's not much over a stub, and a section on the underlying project would be useful if properly sourced.
