Great Raise Houston[edit]

You'll need a lot of sourcing to keep that article. I'd wait until after the first episode airs, and then create it again. After it's actually been on TV there will be more evidence of it's importance.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Don't be upset that someone's probably going to delete the article , as you can recreate it once you have better sources. Independant sources -- not websites, but news stories about the show and episode listings once it's aired, will prove it's important enough to have an encyclopedia article. -- Logical Premise Ergo? 15:52, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Great Raise Houston has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Nothing to establish notability other than former members of the Amazing Race founded it. Seem local and minor, not every charity qualifies for a page.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
