[edit]Hello, I'm Serols. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Evelo Biosciences— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Evelo Biosciences. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Zocke1r (talk) 18:12, 8 January 2018 (UTC) Hello Serols,
I manage investor and public relations for Evelo Biosciences and it is critical that we remove this page. This is a direct request from the CEO of Evelo, Simba Gill.
Can you please help me delete appropriately?
Many thanks, Stefan
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia; it is not the PR wing of a company, and we do not remove content at the will of the subject of an article. Further, you've declared a conflict of interest: see below for more information on managing that. —C.Fred (talk) 19:06, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
Hello, Stefanmriley. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Evelo Biosciences, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);

- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.. —C.Fred (talk) 19:06, 8 January 2018 (UTC)
