[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Keith Raniere, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 22:08, 3 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Stephany, Welcome to Wikipedia. I know of no media sources that mention Keith Raniere having a daughter named Stephany, but of course, sources go out of their way to protect the privacy of children. If you are related to Keith Raniere and want to be listed as his child on his wikipedia article, you would need to have a reliable source that mentions Raniere having a child of that name as a start. If you are in fact the child of the subject, there's no shortage of journalistic outlets that would love to tell your story. Feoffer (talk) 07:33, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I want the privacy that my father put to protect my identity, someone put the names of my brothers and mine It is okay to put the amount 3 Children Stephany Raniere (talk) 13:17, 21 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I've reverted your last edit with an explanation in the summary.
Children's names are usually only included if they themselves are notable.
Hope this helps, Knitsey (talk) 13:30, 21 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Stephany, unfortunately, we really need a source for the claim that he has three children. I have no reason to doubt you, but we have to double check these things with Reliable Sources, i.e. news stories or court filings or such. Feoffer (talk) 04:51, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Steph, I removed the number of children Raniere from the infobox, so it won't be wrong from your perspective. Under our policy instructing us to Assume Good Faith, I presume you really are who you say you are and wish you the best. If you want to include your parentage into the Keith Raniere article, we'd need a Reliable Source. Feoffer (talk) 07:53, 13 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
