Potential conflict of interest[edit]
Hi, Stephen. Thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. I'm assuming based on your username that you're the same Stephen Hand whose works you are citing in many of your edits. If that's not the case, great, but if it is the case, it seems a bit problematic that you keep citing yourself, as well as sometimes writing about yourself and your organization on Wikipedia. I do understand that because of the limited number of scholarly publications in the field, it might legitimately be the case that your own works are the most appropriate citations for a given statement or fact. But, at the very least I'd advise avoiding editing or adding content that's specifically about you or the organizations you are affiliated with, because doing so might be considered a conflict of interest. I would also keep in mind the notability guidelines when adding content about modern martial arts practitioners, whether yourself or others. Thanks! --diff (talk) 04:01, 7 March 2017 (UTC)
