Hi. Sorry about the delay in answering you. I've been a bit hesitant, because I really don't want to sound too critical and I don't want to discourage you from contributing to the encyclopedia. I do hope you will stay and will help us improve articles. So, I mean this constructively and to try to help you, but here's a few things that I think were possibly problematic about your changes...

Changing the transliteration of the full name itself, to a version with different spelling and with hyphens. The problem here is that there are many possible ways of transliterating other languages into Roman script, and there is no one way that is universally considered correct (and if you look at various sources for transliteration of the "Krung Thep Mahanakhon..." name, you'll find most of them differ in some way). So once we have a version that is considered acceptable, we shouldn't change it to any personally preferred version, as that could result in endless changing and changing back. (Also, there doesn't seem to be any equivalent of hyphens in the original script, so introducing those in the Romanised version seems superfluous - unless you can provide a suitable reference explaining why we should prefer one version over another).
Changing "few can explain its meaning" to "only a little number of people can explain its meaning" is grammatically incorrect.
Adding 'loanword for "capital" from Khmer language' is perhaps not incorrect. However, many words in Thai and other regional languages have evolved from other languages and/or have merged with them, and "krung" is nothing special (in fact, it's one of the easiest words in the name to understand). All of the words in the full "Krung Thep Mahanakhon..." name have their origins in Thai, Khmer, Pali, Sanscrit, etc. As such, I didn't think just picking out the most common word and providing an unreferenced account of its origin is very helpful - I think either a full description of the meaning with appropriate references, or no attempt at explanation at all, is the way we should go.

Hi. Ah yes, you're right, "Krung" is the only word of Khmer origin - I think that probably does make it worth a comment, so please feel free to reinsert that (though you might be right that it would be better to look for a reference first). Don't worry about your English, it is actually pretty good - I also do copy editing (I'm a member of the Guild of copy editors), so if you make any additions that you'd like someone to check for grammar etc, please feel free to ask me. I'm from Thailand too but I don't have Thai keyboard here in my office (I still working at 00:55am! But it's my work)

Why not adding "home country" having Thailand in it.

Reply must be in English because this computer doesn't have Thai language. I will ask technicians to fix this problem.

About "home country" - Because there'll be only Thailand in it. To save space, I choose not to make another portion for that.
About Cambodia - I've planned to visit only the Angkor so far, and thus I don't think it'd be too dangerous. (I believe a trip to Pakistan is even more harmful but I like it!)
