[edit]There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.
If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Suidoosterfees|I understand the reasons for me being blocked and I can assure you that I will not do it again. The page you blocked was a non-profitable/ NPO organisation is Cape Town South Africa. I was merely starting with the page and was going to gather information around the annual festival. It is part of Cape Town and South Africa Heritage for the last 15 years. The festival is somewhat the same as the KKNK festival which is also in South Africa. I was wrong to add the dates of the festival because it is seen as advertising or promoting which I admit to doing and would like to apologise for my actions. I can assure you I will not be a problem anymore as a user and kindly ask you to please unblock me. I am unable to talk via 'talk' /[|Your user-talk]. I do admit i am new to the Wikipedia punctuation but please accept my appeal and i will not do it again.}}
@RickinBaltimore: at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock}}
at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. RickinBaltimore (talk) 13:24, 25 July 2017 (UTC)
