Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Sunflowerroad, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Notes

[edit]

Hi! I looked over your work - so far it looks good and my only note is that the work just feels a little choppy in places. I'd continue to look for sourcing so you can continue to expand the article. I did make some tweaks for formatting and also added an infobox to the article. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 16:26, 22 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Siegrid Alnoy

Ready for mainspace!

  • Great job! Good sources, well-structured, and well-written.
  • Minor recommendations before moving the article to mainspace: maybe a couple sentences linking the themes in her work, i.e. “Alnoy’s films explore themes of X,Y, and Z.” I’m sure one of your sources says something that can be cited to that effect.
  • Ensure that all factual claims are cited; the Television Films sections could use a couple more citations, or the sentences could be more clearly linked.
  • I also recommend adding to the lead section to make it a full paragraph, as that is a standard feature of Wikipedia articles. Some guidelines here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Lead_section
