I'm truly pleased to see you here. It was I who started the short article about you that we have here. However, I'm sorry to have to point out that editing the article about yourself is in general discouraged, as many people, when writing about themselves, find it hard to maintain the sort of neutrality that we expect from editors. Editing articles on topics or people that you have a connection with can be seen as a conflict of interest. So if, as I hope, you can suggest ways in which the Susan Vreeland article can be improved, it would be preferable to mention them on the talkpage of the article, Talk:Susan Vreeland. Especially in articles about living people, we expect any information to be supported by reliable third-party sources - which also means that the list of your awards may have to be removed for now, not because there's any doubt about them, but because they don't at present have a reference.
I hope you will enjoy editing Wikipedia and not be put off by the barrage of rules and guidelines I've mentioned here. Regards, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 06:55, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
