Tara

[edit]

I noticed you added an award to Tara's page, but no citation. Could you add a citation? If you don't know how, please ask, and I'll be happy to show you.--SPhilbrickT 22:52, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Awards

[edit]

Unfortunately all your edits have or will be reverted. All content should have a citation in a third-party reliable source. Thank you. --Omarcheeseboro (talk) 17:15, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please note before you add a bunch that will just be removed again - the award coverage should be a third-party reliable source. Making the organization that gives the award a reference is not sufficient. --Omarcheeseboro (talk) 20:20, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The recent edit you made to David Stern constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to remove content from articles without explanation. Thank you.   — Jeff G. ツ 20:21, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Again, unless you find significant coverage of this award in a third-party reliable source (ex. major newspaper), your additions have been removed, and will continue to be removed. --Omarcheeseboro (talk) 16:11, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Omarcheeseboro (talk) 14:10, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you use Wikipedia for advertising, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. All of you edits involve the promotion of one organization's activities. Please stop adding the text, as it appears extremely likely that you are in a direct conflict of interest position. Ckatzchatspy 18:04, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Note that the domain for the ASAMA, which you have described as a "third-party source", is owned by the US Sports Academy, and can not be considered an independent reference. It appears that your edits are only for the purpose of promoting this company. --Ckatzchatspy 22:29, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
