Introduction Assignment - Jan 23rd[edit]

Hi Susie! I'm Paige and I'm in online communities with you! I saw our introduction assignment and wanted to introduce myself on your Talk page. I'm a fourth-year communication studies major with minors in journalism practices and global fashion studies. On campus, I'm in Chi Omega and was formerly the treasurer of The Avenue magazine. I intend on graduating this spring and while I'm unsure of what post-grad life has in store, I hope to work in public relations, fashion, or journalism! Looking forward to this semester with you! Hello Paige! I am so happy meeting you in this class. I am a third year Communication studies and Theater major. Journalism used to be my dream, but then I find I am not a good observer and detail catcher, so I shift my dream to be an actress. That's so cool to be the treasurer of The Avenue magazine, fashion field is so attractive and diverse. Fashion truly like a black hole to me, I used to have big interest in fashion and cannot defend it. So, I buy lots of cloth every season, but I don't know if you have ever watched a documentary called "The True Cost" (I highly recommend this!), and that documentary introduced lots of cruel fact behind fashion industry so now I am trying to minimizing the clothes I am wearing (but sadly, fashion is saying goodbye too me).
