Image tagging for Image:Nopd.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Nopd.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We requires this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 11:06, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:TMP13.JPG has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Angus McLellan (Talk) 15:54, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Editing + images

[edit]

Please read Wikipedia image policies before uploading anymore images. Also, please do not remove free images from articles with no explanation. Thank you.

And it appears that you have lied about the copyright on some images. Do not do this as it is unhelpful and likely a violation of the copyright. gren グレン 09:03, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

I have blocked you for an hour for your disruptive behavior in constantly uploading images without sourcing them and changing and removing free images. Stop now or your next block will be longer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Grenavitar (talkcontribs) 09:10, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Nopd.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sdrtirs (talk) 05:51, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
