Welcome![edit]

Hello, Swstephenson1, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Shalor and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Homework #2 Post[edit]

@Swstephenson1: Whats up buddy? Hope you're doing well and that you remember to do the assignment for this class. I just did the modules and here's what I learned: I learned how to edit a talk page, considering I'm doing it right now. I also learned about the differences between WikiCode and Visual Editor. Visual Editor seems way easier but it's important to now about WikiCode in case you ever have to use it. I also learned about formatting text so I can do this. And this. I also learned about evaluating both articles and sources. Good articles can be found using the article's quality rating. Logically, good articles have been evaluated as "good". Watch out for articles rated "start" or "stub," those aren't necessarily reliable, however they're good articles to edit. When you find yourself editing Wikipedia, probably for this class, its important to cite information and make sure that the information is not plagiarized content or from an unreliable source. Alright, that's enough for now, hope you had a good weekend homie. Editing Wikipedia man let's do it. Capanhans (talk) 23:13, 16 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
