The State of Patent Eligibility in America; Senate Judiciary Meeting/draftspace[edit]

Hi! I was looking through your class's work and saw that you had a fairly large draft in your userspace. It looks like you're creating an article on a Senate Judiciary Meeting, if I'm not mistaken. I wanted to give you some notes:

I'm a little concerned that this specific meeting won't be independently notable outside of the main topics of patents and the Senate Judiciary Committee. Keep in mind that while the Senate itself is notable, as is the general topics of patents in the United States, not every aspect of either will be notable enough for its own article. You need to show where there has been some coverage of this meeting in sourcing independent of the SJC and the participants of the meeting. Basically, you need to be able to show that there's enough notability to where this couldn't just be summarized in the specific subsection for the section in question in the article on United States patent law.

This needs to be summarized - line by line details of meetings, events, and so on are seen as too much detail for Wikipedia's purposes. Only a general synopsis of what was said is needed, with major points of this gone into somewhat more detail. The current outline you have in your draft will be far too much detail.
