Aisam Qureshi[edit]

Hi,

The way I have written the article up to now has been to only include important info on high level tournaments. Individual Futures tournaments aren't included unless Aisam's ranking is really low.

Challengers are also not included unless Aisam has made it into the final, or has won a challanger.

But I include matches on the main ATP tour, even if it is a first round exit.

I though we should focus on higher level tournaments. Aisam, like other tennis players, have played a number future and challengers, and his article can become long and cumbersome if all of his records are entered.

On an unrelated note, I may as well pass this on:

Aisam Qureshi cont[edit]

Well I don't think we need moderation. I'm sure we can come to some agreement. I'll have to deal with this later, maybe tomorrow as it's late here in the UK. And since Aisam is unable to play in the Asian Tennis Championship http://www.geosuper.tv/news_detail.asp?id=8853, we have time to sort it out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nabs (talkcontribs) 21:09, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

Okay, the reason I think we should put a limit on what results are shown is that there needs to be a cut off point somewhere. It's not reasonable to put in all or even most results.

What I do is enter all results from the semi-finals of challengers upwards. Anything below it doesn't get included in the article. If people wish to find out his results in more detail, they can go to the external links.

Aisam has played in a number of tournaments where he has exited in the first two rounds, and I'm not sure if including those would provide any useful information. If they are to be included then to start from 1998, the article can become rather elongated.

I feel more input needs to be placed on other parts of the article. His reported disputes with the Pakistan Tennis Federation for instance should be in there, as such his participation at the Asian Games. Nabs 16:13, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough, but I suggest we not create sub categories for futures, challengers, etc, and should just stick to inputting results chronologically. Nabs 10:56, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
