Hello, Tamuriley, and welcome to Wikipedia! I have "undone" your edit to the article Social structure. The last sentence added made no sense in English and your reference citation was malformed. There is no published sociologist I know of named King Robert Merton and the publication needs to be fully cited so that your reader could locate and read the same information for their self. Once you correct those errors, you are welcome to add your edit again. Best wishes for the success of your project. Meclee (talk) 04:26, 16 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

you need to do more research on the topic of social structure because Robert K. Merton is a renown sociologist for the university of Columbia. so, if you would like to check my error please leave a message in my talk place first thank youTamuriley (talk) 16:24, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Tamuriley: Please take the comments by @Meclee: as helpful and not antagonistic. As we discussed in class, we must remember that everybody on Wikipedia is trying to make it better. Their comments were meant to improve your future additions, not to attack you directly. Please take the time to improve your grammar and to make sure that your citations are correct. Hello, again. The reference was not given as "Robert K. Merton", who is indeed well known, but as "King Robert Merton". Of course, that doesn't correct the errors in grammar. Again, your edits are welcome if you make corrections and decide to re-post. Meclee (talk) 21:16, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you both for your helpTamuriley (talk) 00:20, 9 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
