Please don't make edits to featured articles (esp. ones that appear on the main page) lightly. You should discuss them first on the talk page. The lead of this article has been carefully forged through consensus. nadav (talk) 11:48, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
I haven't. The information on the lead sentence is clearly POV. Tango & Cash 11:55, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- Please be careful about WP:3RR. nadav (talk) 12:02, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Jerusalem. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. 3RR
[edit]Please read WP:3RR. Thank you. Crum375 12:04, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Jerusalem
[edit]In response to expressions of concern re violation of the 3RR, everytime I have tried to edit the Jerusalem page I got an error message coming up saying that 'Wikipedia is currently experiencing technical difficulties'. I was not aware that my edits had gone through. Tango & Cash 12:10, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
3RR
[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Washington Institute for Near East Policy. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content which gains a consensus among editors. - I apologize, I misread the history page. There were two reverts within 24 hours and two more within the past week. You probably don't need to worry about a 3RR block in this case as long as you don't keep reverting. However, in the future you will be much more successful if you change tactics. Instead of reverting multiple times, explain why you disagree on the talk page. Argue based on evidence and wikipedia policy. Reverting multiple times without discussing the issue on the talk page is generally considered disruptive and won't get you anywhere. If you can make a strong case for your change you can force others to either compromise or relent. GabrielF 13:54, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
- No problem. I don't want to get into an edit war on the page, but there's no basis under wikipedia's rules for deleting the reference to Indyk's relationship with AIPAC. What's more WINEP's relationship with Israeli interests is attested to in numerous articles, and the page needs to reflect the organization's political background. I hope to expand on this information in the near future. Tango & Cash 16:48, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
