A few weeks ago you protected this page from anon IPs following a long series of tug-of-war edits from various different anon editors about - well, I'm not quite sure what about. After a fairly quiet period they're back at it again with a vengeance. Can you take a look and reinstate the protection, if you think it warranted? The most recent IP edit here, in what appears to be an attempt to straighten things up, takes the article back a full year, inappropriately to an edit by an editor claiming to be a family member, and arbitrarily to the first (rather than most recent) edit by that editor. (As bad as that is, I think that old version is an improvement over the one that this last editor reverted away from.) I can try to find something in between that does the trick better but it will not be a good use of time if IP editors are able to swoop in and muck it up again.

Thanks for whatever help you can offer. JohnInDC (talk) 03:50, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Things heated up even more in the 30 minutes following my posting above so I sought assistance at WP:ANI, here. I wanted to mention it so you wouldn't think I was forum shopping. JohnInDC (talk) 04:19, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Template vandalized

On July 31, User:Splat5572 changed the images on {{WikiProject Southern California}} without seeking consensus. Can we please change them back to the better looking images? Newport Backbay (talk) 19:54, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

RfA Buckshot06

Is asking "loaded" questions not allowed at an RfA? It seems most questions are "loaded" in that they seek to obtain a response from the candidate about their future performance and behaviour in Wikipedia--mrg3105 (comms) ♠02:30, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Please do not taunt blocked editors

Please do not engage in back-and-forth taunting with blocked editors on their talk pages.

All this does is increase drama, and does not help calm situations down in the slightest.

Thank you. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 04:34, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

If you are referring to this, then you need to look up the definition of "taunt". I was endorsing a block extension, and am perfectly fine with my behavior therein. Tan | 39 13:46, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
