3D modeling[edit]

Hi, welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for your first contribution. Unfortunately, I had to remove your addition to 3D modeling for the following reasons:

  • It expressed some editorial opinions, which we don't do on Wikipedia, according to the policy Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Instead, we should always report what reliable sources say (sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy).
  • It contained inappropriate external links to other sites in the article prose. Generally we link out to other sites only in citations or in the "External links" section at the bottom of the article. Including external links in the article body violates the policy Wikipedia is not a web directory.
  • Finally, see Wikipedia:No original research. Wikipedia doesn't publish any original thought; everything you write must be attributable to a reliable source.

Please don't be discouraged by this. Clearly your edit was an attempt at a constructive contribution, which is welcome. My first-ever edit on Wikipedia was reverted too. It takes some time to become familiar with the policies and guidelines here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask on my talk page, or ask for advice on Wikipedia:Help desk. ~Anachronist (talk) 19:51, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
