A tag has been placed on Terry Tolkin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Vandalism warning[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Alternative rock, you will be blocked from editing. —DCGeist 20:12, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Alternative rock, you will be blocked from editing. —DCGeist 20:22, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

Terry, if you are going to add information about yourself to various articles, you might do it in a more subtle way (ie without adjectives such as "legendery"). In the meantime you should read our various policies, including Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, and Wikipedia:Citing sources. Ceoil 20:40, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

Accounts used solely for blatant self-promotion may be blocked without further warning.

For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. Thank you. --Ronz 23:56, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GA reassessment of Butthole Surfers[edit]

I have conducted a reassessment of the above article as part of the GA Sweeps process. I have found some concerns which you can see at Talk:Butthole Surfers/GA1. I have placed the article on hold whilst these are fixed. Thanks. Jezhotwells (talk) 18:02, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
