User talk:TheApparatus
Hi,
thanks for the images that you added for the Macclesfield and Peak Forest Canals. Great pictures!
Two points!
- Have you considered joining the UK Waterways WikiProject
- Can you tag the edit to the article to show that you added an image (makes it easier for those watching the page)
many thanks

NowCommons: File:LlangollenCanalFinalNarrows.JPG
[edit]File:LlangollenCanalFinalNarrows.JPG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Llangollen Canal UK.jpg. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:Llangollen Canal UK.jpg]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 18:41, 30 May 2009 (UTC)

File copyright problem with File:MargaritaReal.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:MargaritaReal.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 21:29, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Akke. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Akke~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
