@Mako001 The English name of the Bengali word "Chattogram" was once "Chittagong".

But, some years earlier the English name also became "Chattogram". The change was made by the Bangla Academy, and the Government of Bangladesh. The Man Sayem Molla The Greatest (talk) 08:34, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia uses wp:COMMONNAME. The article title is Chattogram which is presumably what more English speakers are familiar with then Chattogram. Someone seeing a link to Chattogram is less likely to recognize it. If you have evidence that Chattogram is more common, please request an article name change on talk:Chattogram.
