Additional tips[edit]

Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the 'pedia!

  • If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too.
  • If you ever think a page or image should be deleted, please list it at the votes for deletion page. There is also a votes for undeletion page if you want to retrieve something that you think should not have been deleted.

Happy Wiki-ing. Kaz

Wikipedia:Requests for adminship[edit]

I'm afraid the answer to your recent question posted at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship is "no" since you have failed to follow the instructions for posting an RfA. I should also say that with your current edit count and history, you are extremely unlikely to succeed in an RfA if you were to submit a properly formed one. Sorry, Gwernol 00:35, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use Futurama image[edit]

Please stop trying to add the Futurama image to your user page. Fair use images cannot be used on user pages. If you replace this image again you will be blocked for violating WP:3RR. Thanks, Gwernol 00:57, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What ARE Fair use images??? --The Sewer Mutant 22:53, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use images are copyrighted images that have been uploaded for the purposes of illustrating a particular article. You can read about their use on Wikipedia here. Gwernol 23:14, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism to user pages[edit]

Please do not vandalize user pages. In particular, placing false block notices on pages, as you did at User:Say Yes to Drugs is inappropriate. Thanks, Gwernol 23:08, 3 October 2006 (UTC) |}[reply]

But, if you look, his user page is named Say Yes to Drugs. --The Sewer Mutant 23:09, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

So? The user is not indefinitely blocked. Adding a false notice saying that he is indefinitely blocked is vandalism. Please stop. Gwernol 23:11, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I will, I mean you're right, it isn't indefinitely blocked. --The Sewer Mutant 20:35, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Stop[edit]

Stop adding false/incorrect warning notices to user pages as you have at User:CrappishButt. If you do not, I will block you. Gwernol 23:16, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to several templates, such as Template:Indef-user and Template:Imposter-m are inappropriate. Please leave these templates alone. Thanks, Gwernol 23:19, 3 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Uploading[edit]

How can I upload? I have read all of the directions. But it doesn't work. Can anyone help? --The Sewer Mutant 22:58, 4 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request for adminship[edit]

  1. You must follow the given format properly in order to make a request.
  2. Users with less than 3 months activity on Wikipedia or less than 3,000 edits are not likely to be made administrators.

Actually, I don't think you are a good-faith account. Based on your activity, you are probably the sockpuppet of a banned user. I am blocking you for disruption. —Centrxtalk • 01:03, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
