Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, but all Wikipedia articles must meet our criteria for inclusion (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Since it does not seem to me that Derivative of Secant Function meets these criteria, I have started a discussion about whether this article should be kept or deleted.

Your opinion on whether this article meets the inclusion criteria is welcome. Please contribute to the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Derivative of Secant Function. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them.

Discussions such as these usually last five days. In the meantime, you are free to edit the content of the article. Please do not remove the "articles for deletion" template (the box at the top). When the discussion has concluded, an administrator will consider all comments and decide whether or not to delete the article.

Hello Theczar,

Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.

Your article on the derivative of the secant function has been nominated for deletion, but that doesn't mean it's bad. It only means that Wikipedia might not be the best place for it.

Wikimedia Foundation has many other projects, and one or another of them might be perfect for your contribution. Consider adding it to a Wikibook. http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Calculus or http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Trigonometry.

We hope you'll continue to spread knowledge for free through Wikimedia. Thanks again.

While the type of material you are putting in wikipedia doesn't seem to belong here, Wikiversity seems like the perfect place for it. Cliff (talk) 17:27, 4 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
