Note on varieties of English

Hi - just a heads up (as you're learning the ropes) on English spelling conventions on the English Wikipedia (I reverted a change you made on Divergent thinking. Obviously, there are people who use different varieties of English (UK, US, Australian etc.) editing Wikipedia, so there's a rule to avoid dispute over which version to use. The details are at WP:ENGVAR, but basically:

If the subject is clearly connected to a particular English-speaking country, use the variety used there (so Manchester United should use British spelling; Barack Obama American spelling).
If there is no such clear national connection, then stick to the variety of English the page was initially written in.
