Re: Question

[edit]

Hey man, got some things for you to read ;-)

  • Your first question: How comes facebook has an article? - Well, you're half right about it having lots of users... but basically anything can have an article if it meets WP:NOTABILITY and if it has two or more reliable sources.
  • So, for example, if I wanted to write about a band (music)... all I'd need to do is write it in a WP:NEUTRAL way and then put two reliable sources in (for example, from online news websites... you get me so far?)
  • Wikipedia is pretty simple but you just need to write everything neutrally (No things like: "This band is great!") and with proper sourcing...
  • Also, when you write comments to people, remember to sign your name with four tildes: ~~~~ Exactly like that at the end of your post ;-) - And there should be a plus sign or "new section" button near the top of a talk page, you can use that to leave people a message about a certain thing... and when you're replying to someone, put a colon : at the start of your paragraph to indent it (or two or three or however many depending on how long the conversation is)... this makes it easier to read a conversation and see who you're replying to etc.
  • Sorry if this is too much to take in all at once ;-) - If you have any questions or need any help whatsoever you can e-mail me at scarianx AT googlemail DOT com - Take care! ScarianCall me Pat! 15:16, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
