Welcome

[edit]

Hello Tmanok and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you've chosen to join us. This is a great project with lots of dedicated people, which might seem intimidating at times, but don't let anything discourage you. Be bold!, explore, and contribute. Try to be civil by following simple rules and signing your talk comments with ~~~~ but never forget that one of our central tenets is to ignore all rules.

If you want to learn more, Wikipedia:Tutorial is the place to go, but eventually the following links might also come in handy:

Float around until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. Additionally, the Community Portal offers a more structured way to become acquainted with the many great committees and groups that focus on specific tasks. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English as well as the cleanup, welcoming, and counter-vandalism committees. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy. If you have any more questions, always feel free to ask me anything on my talk page. News music packages

[edit]

At Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Sinclair_News_Music_Package, there is an apparent developing consensus that the article should be kept, but folks are also asking about a generalized article on what a TV news-music package is - you seem to be a guy who could write that article. And thank you for stepping up to the plate and starting it. Smerdis of Tlön 04:33, 17 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The X Package

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The X Package, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? B. Wolterding (talk) 15:12, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

All the doom on your articles

[edit]

I hope you are not discouraged by the amount of your articles which are getting nominated over at AfD! Of course, there is a reason for it; if there is nothing to say about a piece of creative work besides that it was written, published, and bought or licensed, no article should be written about it. Think about whether the title of the article represents a topic in its own right. Perhaps it would be good to read what is written at WP:NOT, though I realize it is terribly general. Cheers! --Falcon Darkstar Momot (talk) 00:47, 15 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article List of Disney Channel series has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I really think this page is unnecessary. Each channel and Disney+ originals are located in its resentful subheading in their "List of programs" article. If this were to be allowed, then every other channel would have a "List of ___ series", which then refers to WP:NOTTVGUIDE.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. kpgamingz (rant me) 17:48, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
