The material you are attempting to add to this article is not appropriate for Wikipedia. All other cover versions are afforded a single line entry, and you are trying to add a full paragraph about one specific cover version. Also, the paragraph is full of personal opinions which are not supported by a citation from a reliable source. The addition of such analysis and interpretation without a source is original research and we do not allow it, since it violates our neutral point of view policies. Please do not continue to attempt to add this material without a proper source. Beyond My Ken (talk) 05:33, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
- One further comment: I went back to the article with the intention of adding a single-line entry for the cover version your paragraph discussed, but I found that we do not have articles on either of the artists who made the cover you referred to. For this reason, I did not add the entry: absent additional evidence of notability, the fact that an artist has no article here makes him, de facto non-notable. This could be an oversight, of course, perhaps these two artists are indeed notable but no one has yet created their articles. Still, given the available evidence, even a one-line entry won't fly, since covers by artists without articles are routinely removed from the article. Thus, you've now got two hurdles to overcome -- you need to establish that the artists are notable, and you need a citation from a reliable source to supports the comments you're attempting to add (and even if you get one, there's no guarantee they'll be kept in the article in the extensive way you've written them, since there's also the matter of how much weight they should be accorded.)
