Question[edit]
I found on one of your pages you made reference to census information. Where would I find population numbers for the 1960 census? Thanks Tonybengston 19:45, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Tony,
- Population figures for some unincorporated communities was listed in the 1961 edition of World Book Encyclopedia, itself only a tertiary source, but which came from the 1960 Census. The specific population figure for Littleton, Iowa, comes from World Book Encyclopedia, volume 9 (letter I), page 305. Is there anything I can help with? Best wishes, Firsfron of Ronchester 20:00, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I for Iowa. The index lists around 1,000 towns with population data, including Littleton. While I'm here, I notice you have recently created a page about Chatham, Iowa. Since this town no longer exists, and since it history is inextricably linked with that of Littleton, what do you say on a proposed merger of the two articles?
