I noticed the edit you made to the Tampa Breeze roster. Perhaps I am reading too much into this, but I noticed your username is Tracey as is the player you added. Is that you? If so, (even though it does violate the conflict of interest rule on here) could you make a couple edits to improve the main Tampa Breeze page? Namely what I am wondering is whether you could correct the roster to the proper one and add in anything else that has a neutral point of view about the team. Also, what is attendance been like? I noticed the LFL hasn't been releasing any official figures in that regard. Shootmaster 44 (talk) 01:33, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Shootmaster,

You are correct, I do play for the Tampa Breeze :)

We just played our 3rd game agains NY Majesty. Our record is 1-2. If we win against Miami next Friday we will be going to playoffs and compete to be in the Lingerie Bowl. I noticed that there is some additional information on some of the players. I could provide you with information on each of the players if you wish?

Here is my information if you wish to add to it:

Current positions: Center, Offensive lineman, Defensive lineman

Tracey Bartlett, #16, has played sports her whole life and was an all-conference player in high school while playing basketball, volleyball and softball. She graduated from Michigan State University in 2003 with a degree in Industrial Engineering and is currently a Sales Engineer for an electrical distribution company.

I can get you figures for our first 2 games, but the figures don't usually come out until a few weeks after we play, so I'll have to get you those at a later time.

Hello, Traceymsu. You have new messages at Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard.
Message added 02:34, 8 October 2010 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
Just as a comment, you might also want to review WP:ATHLETE, which contains our notability guidelines for athletes. The subject of an article must meet WP:N, and the subset of those rules relating to athletes is at the guideline I mentioned.--Wehwalt (talk) 18:11, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Tracey Willmer requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. [edit]

You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, instead of writing it yourself, as you did at Tracey Willmer. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.

Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.

If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. Morgankevinj(talk) 23:51, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You've already been informed at WP:COIN and above that you would have to establish notability through WP:ATHLETE before this particular article could be created and kept in the Wikipedia mainspace. This article does not fulfill those requirements. You've also been warned to not edit or write articles about yourself, as it is a conflict of interest. If you continue to persist, you could be blocked. Your experience in this sport would be welcome at various articles on the project so I hope you discontinue editing in this manner. --132 01:14, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
