Information icon Hello, I'm Arjayay. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sajid Javid, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 14:12, 14 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Arjayay I think the original quote should be removed then. Its source is manifestly in error that he was Vice Chairman, as there is no such role for a junior executive in the bank, and it is sourced to one poor source. William Harrison (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_B._Harrison_Jr.) was the vice-chairman of Chase Manhattan throughout this period . Further, it would be a huge demotion had Sajid actually gone from Vice-Chairman of the board (i.e. number two in the bank) to being a humble executive director at Deutsche in the year 2000. He would also have been the youngest member of the senior board of a bulge bracket bank by a huge margin, and with virtually no experience. Leaving the claim that he was vice-chairman up just makes the article look very poor quality, especially given the source for that claim. Wikipedia should be better than that.

Further again, his own website (https://www.sajidjavid.com/about-sajid) states he was vice President, not vice-Chairman: "Aged 25, he became a Vice President at Chase Manhattan Bank."
