Edit summaries[edit]

Friendly FYI: Edit summaries are important in editing Wikipedia. I reverted your recent edit to the Black Dahlia article because you gave no explanation for the tag you removed. Another editor has now reverted my revert and states that your edit was done in good faith based on a consensus to keep the photo. If you had written something in the edit summary indicating this, I never would have reverted your edit. The point here is not to chastise you, just give you a heads up as to why edit summaries are important (and actually necessary) in WP. Not all editors - veteran and new alike - follow this rule, but actually, everyone should. It just makes for a better editing experience for all. The article on the imporatnce of edit summaries might answer any questions or concerns you have about including summary comments every time you edit. Thanks. --SkagitRiverQueen (talk) 18:21, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't know that edit summaries are so important for editing in Wikipedia. I'm sorry and I will use them in the future. I understand that you're not chasing me or whatever and my apologize if I gave you more work to do. Thanks for letting me know! Oh and by the way: I'm Dutch, so don't blame me for my (not so perfect) English, please. - Trijnstel (talk) 19:11, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No apologies necessary. Have a great day. --SkagitRiverQueen (talk) 19:13, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My Secret Page[edit]

You did indeed. :) You can now use {{User:Hi878/Secret Page Icon}} on your userpage. It uses {{topicon}} so you can figure out how to position it. :) ~~ Hi878 (Come shout at me!) 04:15, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, since we both worked on cleaning up the genealogical tables at Lennart Bernadotte, I thought you might be interested in some comments I made about an even worse problem (caused by the same now-indefinitely-blocked editor), for a much more notable subject, at User talk:SergeWoodzing#Folke Bernadotte. Best wishes, —— Shakescene (talk) 08:19, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Genealogy is one of my hobbies and I know a lot about royalty. So if you need any help: I am available. The link you gave me is indeed interesting. I will take a look at the questions and change/add information if I have time (I am also active on the Dutch Wikipedia, therefore). Kind regards, Trijnstel (talk) 11:34, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I think I've fixed the most pressing problems (by converting the information into a collapsible table) but I'd certainly appreciate an expert eye checking and correcting omissions, misunderstandings and errors, both at Lennart Bernadotte and at Folke Bernadotte#Ancestors, wife and descendants. ¶ If someone was ever able to take the time to compose a simple Template:Family tree of Oscar II's descendants, that might clarify things like the relationships between Lennart, Folke and the later Kings of Sweden. (I briefly toyed with the idea, but it looked rather more challenging than I'd expected.) —— Shakescene (talk) 19:28, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Tomorrow I'll take a look at both links if you don't mind. I can explain the relationships between Lennart, Folke and the Kings of Sweden, but I think that would be a long story. Another thing you can expect tomorrow. ;-) I will answer either on this page or on your talkpage. Greets, Trijnstel (talk) 22:43, 22 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. There's absolutely no hurry (this is just a topic I just ran across after glancing idly at the Genealogy project page). And you don't need to go to the trouble of explaining those relationships to me, I can see they're all descended from King Oscar II: I'm just thinking of the best way to make that apparent to ordinary readers (like myself). I'll probably start a sandbox User:Shakescene/Oscar to experiment with a Grandchldren of Oscar II of Sweden on the lines of Grandchildren of Victoria and Albert. If I find it's worth completing, then it could be used as a link in several different Bernadotte biographies. —— Shakescene (talk) 01:13, 23 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

gebruiker Goodmorning[edit]

M.vr.gr.Houtlijm (talk) 10:04, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
