Edit-warring
[edit]Please stop edit-warring with the image at Rama. Read Wikipedia guidelines suggested above, and go to Talk:Rama#Lead_image_edit-warring to discuss this further. Thanks, Priyanath talk 20:26, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Priyanath talk 21:20, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Lingam. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Abecedare (talk) 22:39, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- Truth only truth - you've already been reverted by three longtime Hinduism editors (Nvineeth, Redtigerxyz, Abecedare), and will be reverted by a fourth (myself) and blocked if you keep edit-warring against consensus and WP policy at Lingam. Stop it. Priyanath talk 23:10, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- None of you, who claim themselves as "certified editors", have a higher authority over me. Stop instructing me if I have given everything with enough citation, as in case of lingam, and check my edits before reverting them. -- Truth only truth (talk) 23:20, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
- Please read Wikipedia's policies on consensus at WP:CONSENSUS. If you aren't happy with consensus going against you, edit-warring or blaming others are not the answer. I suggest you start editing Wikipedia articles in which you don't have so much emotional investment. It's a good way to learn about Wikipedia policies, and to learn what is and isn't. See Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not for some helpful tips about what it isn't. Priyanath talk 23:29, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Re: Britannica's online quote
[edit]Hello Truth only truth, if you scroll down the Britannica's article, you will find the content that was removed. After the first para, there is big empty space, just scroll down and you will find it. Hope this helps --Nvineeth (talk) 05:32, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
