Why it was changed back to "alcohol" from "alcoholic"

[edit]

Original comment on Mistress Selina Kyle's talk page

[edit]

"The point of the userbox was not to display that this person is or was an alcoholic, but to suggest that the person drank alcohol (as opposed to Coke, Pepsi, or the like). Will you please explain your reasoning behind this on my talk page? Thanks, Ian Manka Questions? Talk to me! 03:56, 29 December 2005 (UTC)"

Response

[edit]

"Feel free to change it back if you want

I mistook your meaning. It looked like you were saying it a sarcastic kinda way, as in "this user just drinks and nothing else". ;) --Mistress Selina Kyle (Α⇔Ω ¦ ⇒✉) 04:06, 29 December 2005 (UTC)"

"It was sort of sarcastic ... when you read... "This person drinks _____" userbox after userbox after userbox... it may get on your nerves, until you get to the bottom and you find something that makes you laugh like "This user drinks. Period." No "This User Drinks....", Just "This User Drinks." Thanks for your understanding and time. Ian Manka Questions? Talk to me! 04:12, 29 December 2005 (UTC)"
