Welcome!
Hello, UMPG, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial

- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Rklawton (talk) 20:26, 24 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Your addition to Troy Verges has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 20:22, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
Your edit summary here reading "approved bio update" indicates some approval process outside of Wikipedia's own editing processes and leads me to believe you are editing Troy's article as a paid advocate. If that is indeed the case, then you should read our guidelines on the subject of editing with conflicts of interest. If you need assistance with editing this article, please don't hesitate to ask here. Rklawton (talk)
Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, I noticed that your username (UMPG) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because the name represents the organization "Universal Music Publishing Group". If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account to use for editing. Thank you. Rklawton (talk) 20:38, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames, and trolling or other disruptive behavior is not tolerated. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Mifter (talk) 21:45, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
