I've always thought that there ought to be a section on Naming. This section existed before Nancy began work on the article. Right now, the applicable information is squeezed into a Note. This issue gets a lot of traffic on the talk page usually, and it would do well as a stand-alone section (plus, it would make it a million times easier to edit the lead if that huge note were gone).
