Request to unblock my account
[edit]Hello to all the administrators reading this. I have already contacted support asking to have my ban lifted, as it seems like a mistake was made. Could you please review this issue, as I genuinely don’t understand what I did wrong. I believe I may have been mistaken for someone else or something similar. I was banned 5 years ago shortly after creating my account and didn’t really have a chance to make edits to English articles. At that time, I was mostly focused on editing Russian-language articles, but I eventually stopped. Now, I've decided to start editing again, but this time more seriously and regularly, and I’d like to contribute primarily to the English Wikipedia.
In short, I don’t know what I need to do to have my ban lifted. Maybe I’m being mistaken for a bot or an untrustworthy editor, but that’s not the case. Perhaps my username, "Ukrainian editor," was confused with someone else’s, but I’m just a 21-year-old student from Kyiv who has never done anything on Wikipedia that would warrant a permanent ban. Please get in touch with me and give me any kind of response so I can understand if there’s a chance for my ban to be lifted. Ukrainian editor (talk) 23:34, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
