He is a very interesting person, but you need to make the case that Strachan is notable (has had an impact on his field and noticed for it), as shown by position, awards, and things that have been written about him. The only reference you have provided is his own staff profile. You need to provide sources that are independent of him and his university. See Wikipedia:Notability (academics), especially the section on criteria. He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, for example, which means he has had an impact on his field. A selected bibliography is good, but needs to be in chronological order for an encyclopedia article, not newest first. StarryGrandma (talk) 06:39, 13 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications.
