A tag has been placed on Draft:Pacific Group of e-Journals, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Pacific Group of e-Journals

[edit]

Hi, from the talk page comment of the draft about this publisher, it seems that you own this company. I would strongly discourage that you further try to create an article about it. From a quick perusal, it appears that your company has many of the characteristics of a predatory publisher. Even if (which I doubt) you'd be able to show that this company meets our inclusion criteria, a neutral article about it would hardly be flattering. I also encourage you to familiarize yourself with the academic publishing business and modify your company accordingly. --Randykitty (talk) 09:50, 3 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What made you conclude that this is a Predatory Publishing? Do you have any factual evidence that refers it to be Predatory. I am aghast by the harsh words! This is so unprofessional. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Utkarshagrawal729 (talkcontribs)

  • Well, let me see:
  • Typos and ungrammatical English on website: check
  • Proudly displaying fake indexing services like Index Copernicus and Citefactor: check
  • Offering faster than usual reviewing for an extra fee: check
  • Publishing articles with significant grammatical problems (this one for example): check
In short, to borrow from you: so unprofessional. Do I really need to continue? --Randykitty (talk) 10:57, 3 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
