November 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Gazit-Globe, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Jim1138 talk 09:55, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Valerie GAR. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Gazit-Globe, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Jim1138 talk 10:03, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please note: this is an article on the Wikimedia Foundation's server. It is Wikipedia's, not Gazit-Globe's. Content needs to follow Wikipedia's wp:policy and wp:Manual of Style. Thank you Jim1138 talk 10:05, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

replay[edit]

hi Jim, as i told you i'm an employee of Gazit Group and this is the formal wiki page of the company. this page include all the history and the information of the company. we all ready have an Hebrew page in wiki that include all the data the we edited in english. https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D7%92%D7%96%D7%99%D7%AA_%D7%92%D7%9C%D7%95%D7%91 i'm writing about the company i work for and this information is authentic and formal information that we share on different platforms. i ask you nicely please don't revert the changes that we made ,we worked on it many hours and it is my responsibility and job to have a correct wiki page.

You don't seem to get it. You have a conflict of interest. You work for the Gazit-Globe and your writing is promoting Gazit-Globe. Editing on Wikipedia should be inline with Wikipedia's wp:policy. Your purpose is in conflict with Wikipedia's purpose. The Gazit-Globe article is on Wikipedia's server, it not Gazit-Globe's webpage to do what they want with. Content needs to meet policy and wp:Manual of Style. Your edits don't meet those requirements and should not be on Wikipedia. My recommendation is that you make an wp:edit request see specifically wp:edit request#Making requests and Wikipedia:Suggestions for COI compliance.
