OxygenOS[edit]

Hi there, I noticed you reverted my edit at OxygenOS. I wanted to explain to you the reason for my edit to make sure we're on the same page. I removed the wholly unsourced section on the article due to it not adhering to one of the core Wikipedia policies, WP:Verifiable which means that content on Wikipedia must be cited. Please let me know if you have questions! Thanks, ~ Araratic | talk 01:54, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This may be a good source for the version history. https://www.oneplus.com/global/support/softwareupgrade Adamwikisz (talk) 02:32, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Adamwikisz, That link only contains current releases which is a significant subset of the material. Further, content on Wikipedia cannot contain copyrighted material (ie. copy pasted from other sources). Lastly, burden for adding sources is on the person who adds (or re-adds) material onto the article as mentioned at WP:VERIFIABLE. Additionally, Wikipedia is not an exhaustive list of software updates per WP:RELEASENOTES and should generally contain third party reliable sources. Consequently, I have removed the section. ~ Araratic | talk 10:57, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
