Sources for verification

[edit]

Hi. I was wondering if you could provide sources for the article on Roman Abelevich Kachanov. I can read Russian, and would be happy to help translating and copy-editing, we just need sources in place for the biographical details. I've looked in Russian and haven't been able to find, for instance, that his name was Ruvim rather than Roman at birth, and the names of his parents. Not that I don't believe what is written there and what is on the Russian Wikipedia, it's just that the article is supposed to cite it's sources. Thank you, DVD 19:34, 11 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Vladimir Danilevich, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Director (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello. I see that you have created the article, but you have not added any content to the article itself. However, if you are starting an article on Wikipedia, may I suggest that you try creating the article using either using your user sandbox or the Articles for creation process? Both processes allow other users to edit the articles and the later provides peer feedback on the articles and minimize the risk of the article being nominated for deletion. If you wish to delete the mainspace article and work on it on the other areas, then please blank the page and that will be taken as a request for deletion. If you have any questions, you can leave a message on my talk page. Thanks! KJ click here 15:22, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, dear friend! I marked all my articles as the stubs. It opened the doors for everybody editing and changing my articles. Is it the right way for me in this situation?--Vasilchikov v.v. (talk) 17:11, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notice

The article The Newcomer in The Cabbage has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable short film, nothing found in a WP:BEFORE to help it pass WP:NFILM. Tagged for notability since 2014.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
