Additions of http://.orthoanswer.org/
[edit]Please do not add advertising or inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Re additions of orthoanswer.org
[edit]Thanks for the warning regarding spamming & inappropriate external links. I hadn't actually thought about adding these links as spamming as my editting so far has involved editing content, adding links to other wikipedia pages as well as adding external links. I've been linking to this site in particular because I discovered it recently and think it often provides good, reliable patient centric information about orthopaedic conditions, and I find patients are often misinformed when they just google things. In addition, many of the articles I've editted have limited info on their respective topics, so I felt that summaries on Wikipedia plus linking out was the most efficient way to provide information. I should admit that the reason I heard about this site was because a friend of mine spent some time last year contributing to it, however I don't feel this contravenes the 'don't link to sites with which you are affliated" section as I'm not involved in Orthoanswer in any way myself.
If you genuinely feel this is an inappropriate use of Wikipedia's editting then I don't mind stopping adding the links.
