A tag has been placed on Spatchcock and the Lubricated Testicles of Time, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Spatchcock and the Lubricated Testicles of Time is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Spatchcock and the Lubricated Testicles of Time. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable.

Reposting this information once deleted is viewed as vandalism. Please don't blow your chance to contribute. - Lucky 6.9 23:04, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please review Wikipedia standards for musicians and bands. -- Fan-1967 22:41, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vicar, I got your email and it seems Fan has saved me some typing. Wot Fan said. Exactly. Guy 14:12, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion review

[edit]

First step would be to try to create a sample article, in your user space (Click here to create one: User:Vicar in a Tutu\Spatchcock and the Lubricated Testicles of Time). Once you have an article that you believe would meet the standards at WP:MUSIC (read those standards thoroughly), you can create an appeal at Wikipedia:Deletion Review. I will warn you that I've never seen an article kept on a band whose popularity seems confined to myspace. Fan-1967 01:25, 26 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Logitech G13, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing no content to the reader. Please note that external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article don't count as content. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
