Redirect question

[edit]

I am wondering how I can get a search for "Jan Nepomuk Skroup" to redirect users to my article, "Jan Nepomuk Škroup"; i.e., if people do not realize there is a diacritical mark over the S in his last name? Thanks. ViolaKnits (talk) 16:35, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. Thanks for the warm welcome! ViolaKnits (talk) 16:36, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You would type "Jan Nepomuk Skroup" into the search bar, then click the red link that says "You may create the page 'Jan Nepomuk Skroup'". Then type " #REDIRECT [[Jan Nepomuk Škroup]] ". I was beaten to the punch on creating it. :) CTJF83 16:45, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)Hey :) I've redirected the article for you. To see exactly how I did that, take a look at the code here [1] - there's not much. :) If you have any questions, feel free to leave a note on my talk page :) [stwalkerster|talk] 16:47, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)Blimey, it's busy here :-)
See this - a WP:REDIRECT. Now, Jan Nepomuk Skroup will take readers to Jan Nepomuk Škroup.  Chzz  ►  16:48, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
