August 2022

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Robby.is.on. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Mamadou Samassa (footballer, born 1990), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Robby.is.on (talk) 12:42, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ambiguous nationality

[edit]

Hi there. This was agreed by Wikipedia:WikiProject Football, the community of Wikipedia football editors: For players who represent a different country than their country of birth, we consider their nationality ambiguous so we leave it out. Instead, we usually go with a wording like "Born in country1, he represents country 2 at international level". For that reason I've removed the "Malian" descriptor from Mamadou Samassa (footballer, born 1990). Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 10:01, 19 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
